Or a tied bunch of Autumn leaves and berries would be just as good! Harvest Festival services at St Nicholas’ Church on Sunday 11th October: 9.30am – a traditional Harvest Festival with Holy Communion 4.00pm – an informal all age Messy Church celebration, also at the church All services and activities at the church are ‘COVID safe’ respecting the current requirements on numbers attending, and social distancing. October Services

A new pattern for services in church in October We are going to double the number of Sunday morning services in each parish church. This has necessitated a change in both the time and pattern of services. Please remember to attend worship in your usual church, as capacity is significantly restricted by the 2m distancing rule that remains in place. Volunteer Position

Visitor Co-ordinator for the Buckingham Archdeaconry Clergy Charity The Archdeacon of Buckingham’s Clergy Charity is a small Charity set up to provide financial support to clergy in the Archdeaconry, also their widows in times of need.  The Trustees comprise the Archdeacon of Buckingham, the Bishop of Buckingham and three Lay members.  Whilst the needs of the clergy are generally well known to the Archdeacon, the clergy widows are personally visited by lay people in order to provide both pastoral support and to establish if the Charity can help with any specific significant financial issue. Currently there are six visitors based in different parts of the county who have been co-ordinated on a voluntary basis by a Visitor Co-ordinator for more than a decade.  The Co-odinator now wishes to relinquish the voluntary Co-ordinator's role though will continue to visit a small number of clergy widows.  The Trustees are therefore looking for someone to continue with this valuable work.  Specifically, this entails the responsibility...
